At first light in the Catskill Mountains, while mist clung to the trees and dew shimmered like a thousand tiny jewels, artist and wellness advocate Maxwell Alexander slipped out of his cabin with his camera. A BFA graduate of the School of Visual Arts and MA graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology, Maxwell is also a certified Fitness Trainer, Bodybuilding and Sports Nutrition Coach, and Wellness Coach, and a graduate-level expert in the theory of visual perception. Known as a master of visual meditation and art therapy through fine art nature photography, he channels his understanding of how people see and feel images into macro close-ups of dewdrops, flowers and plants.
